Beach day with boys

We headed down to the beach after lunch because it was an absolutely beautiful day. I carried Lucas in the babybjorn and steered Eli in his car. He loved it because he "drove" to the beach.

Sunday Run

Today we ran/walked a 5k in memory of a girl named Megan who died at 14 from heart failure :-( http://www.missmeganmyers.com/. The cause was great & we were up and out early which was a feat in itself. We met all the family there: Jo, Lau, Ian, Charlie Bears, Jake, Cooper, Jerry and Jonathan. Jo was a trooper and carried Luc in the babybjorn and Coops pushed Eli. I ran walked with Jonathan and finished in 44 min. Yeah!

Mama I want to go to school...

Today Eli proclaimed that he wanted to go to school, ride on the bus, and that he needed a "McCream" (AKA Lightning McQueen) backpack. We were at the time passing a school bus parking lot and then he simply asked, "Mama, you want to come too?" I looked in the rear view mirror and smiled then replied "Mommy's to big to go to school, you can go by yourself with your friends". I love seeing him think and then hearing what he comes up with. He just cracks us up, melts our hearts, and we simply love our little Eli. Then... there is his little bro Lucas, he is smiling now, cooing and just plain adorable. Luc loves to stare at Eli playing or singing, Eli is quite the singer. Lucas and Eli are our bright spots. Ian and I count our blessings for everyday.
